Did you know that each month, approximately 103, 464 British Columbians access a Food Bank?
32% of those are CHILDREN.
The Salvation Army Community Food Bank in Vernon continues to see an increase in demand for services.
Since January 1st, the Food Bank has distributed almost 5000 food hampers, as well as daily donations of bread and produce, in excess of $250,000 worth of food given so far this year.

Our Community Food Bank shelves are running low!

The Food Bank needs:
- canned milk
- coffee (regular and decaf)
- dish soap
- laundry soap
- foil/plastic wrap
- hand soap
- body wash
- paper towels
- feminine products

THANK YOU to all who joined us for our Anniversary Celebrations this past weekend!
We enjoyed a lovely dinner on Friday night, hosted a great Carnival on Saturday that saw about 200 people in attendance
and experienced wonderful worship and fellowship on both Saturday and Sunday!
A special thank you to our Guest speakers and all those who helped to make this past weekend so memorable.

The Salvation Army can help.
Our Moms and Tots Program is offered on the
2nd Thursday of each month from 1:30 to 3:30pm!
At Moms and Tots, you'll receive.....
* a bundle of essential items for your baby (wipes, diapers, baby food, etc)
* some nutritious items for your family
* play group time for your tot and conversation with other parents!
* the opportunity to connect with a Public Health Nurse!
TO ATTEND, PLEASE PREREGISTER BY THE 1st WEDNESDAY OF EACH MONTH!
