We are a church that is committed to our territorial mission, which says:

The Salvation Army exists to share the love of Jesus Christ, meet human needs, and be a transforming influence in the communities of our world.  

To fulfill this mission, we gather as a church family to worship, provide food and clothing support through our Food Bank, and reach the community at our Thrift Store. 

Vernon Community Food Bank is a member of Food Banks British Columbia (FBBC) and an affiliated member of the Canadian Association of Food Banks. We are the only authorized Food Bank in Vernon.
